Auction Information: Greenwood County will offer for public auction a large selection of surplus county equipment and confiscated vehicles on Saturday, June 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM. This is a live, on-site auction open to the public. All items are sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price.
VEHICLES & ROLLING STOCK The county is liquidating a substantial fleet of retired vehicles, including multiple Ford Crown Victoria police interceptors ranging from 2000–2011 model years, Ford Explorers, Ford F150 and F250 pickup trucks, a 1988 Ford F800 dump truck, a 1996 New Holland 6610 tractor, a 1991 Ford F800, and a flatbed trailer. These vehicles are sold as-is, where-is.
CONFISCATED VEHICLES Also crossing the block is a selection of sheriff's department confiscated vehicles, including a 2007 Dodge Charger, 2015 Dodge Ram, 2006 Toyota Tacoma, 2006 Chevy Silverado, 2006 Chevy Colorado, 2007 Ford Mustang, 2008 Chevy Colorado, and a 1999 Saturn SL2. All confiscated vehicles are sold as-is, with no express or implied warranty.
MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT Additional surplus items include a 4,375-watt Predator generator, Generac generators, a 1991 Bobcat 743B skid steer, a 1986 John Deere 650 w/bushog, a Snapper zero-turn mower (52"), a Husqvarna mower, a 2002 Kubota ZD28, a 500-gallon fuel tank, a 7,000 lb. 2-post lift, floor jacks, tires, and miscellaneous garage and facilities equipment.

Internet Premium: 13% with credit card or 10% with cash or approved check.
Payment Options: Cash, approved company checks and all major credit cards (3% fee for credit cards).
Payment Instructions: All payments are due at the close of bidding on the day of the auction.
Taxes: We DO NOT collect taxes on vehicles - all taxes due must be paid by the buyer at their local tax office/DMV based on that county/state/country's laws in place. All other items will be taxed at the county tax rate as of day of auction.
Titles: Titles will be provided on vehicles immediately for cash payments or 10 business days later for any type of check payments or credit cards.
Shipping Instructions: If you have a transport company or rollback removing vehicles for you, they must be moved OUTSIDE the facility gates on the day of the auction. You are responsible for the items left outside the gate.

Online Bidding Terms:
Meares Property Advisors has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction to provide accurate descriptions of all items. All property is sold 'as-is' and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion. Absolutely NO refunds will be offered.
There is a 10% Buyer's Premium added to your total purchase. A 3% fee will be charged on credit card transactions.
All accounts must be settled at the conclusion of the auction on the day of auction. We accept major credit cards, cash and approved company checks only. A 10% online buyer's premium will be added to all sales conducted.
Buyer to arrange pickup, shipping or transfer for items won in this auction. Neither the seller nor auction company will provide pickup, transport, hauling or securing of any item in this auction.
In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number, and email address at which they can be contacted. This is to ensure good communication between Meares Property Advisors and the bidder throughout any transactions.
Any NSF checks or credit card chargebacks will be investigated by Greenwood County.
The auctioneer has the sole discretion to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it in his estimation prove injurious to the auction. The auctioneer shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser.
The auction company shall not be held responsible for any 'missed' bids or bids unseen by the auctioneer.
All sales are final.
By bidding on any item, the bidder shows acceptance of the terms of the auction.
The auction company reserves the right to refuse service or decline registration to any person.
